The granddaughter of President John F. Kennedy, died on Tuesday following a recent disclosure of a rare leukemia diagnosis.
Family and Institution Announces the Loss
Her passing was announced in a online announcement by the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum.
“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”
Details of the Diagnosis
Within a personal essay late last year, it was shared that she had been found to have a type of blood cancer with a rare mutation.
This form of cancer is a cancer that targets the bone marrow and blood cells.
Those close to her is seeking space as they grieve.
